*** July 14, 2024 *** Thoughtful Question To Start: When was the last time that you sat and drink your coffee peacefully?
Scripture Reading: "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body." - 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 (NIV) With the demands of our society to constantly do something, we often forget to do something for ourselves. Every day presents a plate of things to do then we do our best to face these challenges. In times when the feeling of weariness and exhaustion meets us that we can only cry on the corner, may these times remind us of His unchanging presence.
In our fast-paced lives, it's easy to overlook the small moments that can bring us peace and joy. The verse from 2 Corinthians reminds us that even in the midst of trials, we are not alone. God is with us, and His presence can transform our hardships into moments of grace.
Reflecting on these small moments can help us find meaning and peace. Whether it's a quiet morning with a cup of coffee, the laughter of a loved one, or a beautiful sunset, these moments remind us of God's love and the beauty of life. They are reminders that, despite the pressures and challenges we face, we are not crushed or abandoned.
Take time today to pause and notice the small blessings around you. Allow these moments to fill you with gratitude and peace. Remember, it's in these small moments that we often find the strength to carry on. Today's Guide for your Reflection:
