How do you deal with life’s problems?
Today’s Scripture Reading: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NLT)
“Each time he said, ‘My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.’ So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Have you ever felt weak? Tired? Exhausted? Lost? Worried? Anxious? Yet, you're still here, today, living and taking one day at a time. Pat your shoulder for not giving up. Because If it were up to us, we would have already given up.
But there is the strength within that takes us and keeps us from not stopping. That is God.
In the letter of Paul to the Corinthians, he reveals a profound truth about the Christian life: God’s power is made perfect in our weakness. Though this may seem hard to understand, it’s counterintuitive, it is in our moments of weakness when are most aware of God’s power. Paul doesn’t shy away from his weaknesses; instead, he embraces them, understanding that through them, Christ’s power shines through.
Today’s verse challenges us to reconsider how we view our struggles and shortcomings.
Rather than seeing them as hindrances, we can see them as opportunities for God’s power to be displayed in our lives.
When we rely on God in our weakness, we find true strength—His strength. Today, let’s take comfort in knowing that God’s grace is more than enough for us, even in our weakest moments.
